Challenging, surprising and unusual, the Art Gallery's temporary exhibitions programme includes a variety of different art forms and could feature anything from Picasso to local school children's work. The gallery is dedicated to supporting the work of local artists as well as showing art of national and international significance.

Talbot, author of the critically
acclaimed book' Alice In Sunderland'
will have some of his art work from the
book on display, the week beginning 8
September at Arts Centre, Washington,
Bryan will also give a talk and slide
show presentation on Saturday 13
September at the City Library & Arts
Centre at 1.30pm. The Heritage Open Days
regional booklet will be available from
August.

whole of the counties of Northumberland,
