Since its formation in 1993 the Biddick Arts Writers Group has striven to promote and encourage enthusiastic authors to see their literary efforts published either in an anthology or accepted publication nationally.

The group meets every Tuesday afternoon in the Arts Centre Washington and the meetings are of an informal nature offering comments and advise on others work more than a strict creative session.

All genres of writing are encouraged; short stories, poetry, sketches, humour, and newcomers are always welcome.
